A restorative afternoon to embrace your voice, your power, and your joy.
But what does that mean for us in the face of collective and personal loss?
Whether you are already embracing joy in your day-to-day life or feeling disconnected from your joy — this gathering is for you!
We'll be gathering at a private home in Studio City.
Spaces are very limited.
The month of Adar is the Hebrew Calendar’s invitation into joy, delight, and a full expression of your true voice!
As our Sages taught: "When Adar arrives, joy increases" (Talmud Ta'anit 29:a). There's even a tradition to soak in more and more joy each day of the month.
Together, we will lean into this ancient invitation. We'll move through learning, ritual, creative and embodied practices crafted to bring you into a more intentional relationship with your spirit, your body, and your most joyous self.
This restorative gathering is a balm for the Greater Los Angeles community! We'll gather in a private home in Studio City — a tranquil space to sing, dance, create, and draw from ancient wisdom.
An One-Day Retreat by At The Well
Check back soon as we announce more inspiring facilitators!
Sarah brings a rich background in sociology, holistic medicine, competitive athletics, and mindfulness. Her experiences deepened her understanding of the power of supportive community, spiritual connection, and cycle awareness. She created At The Well out of love — to be a space for witnessing, learning, and integrating Jewish heritage into everyday life.
Rabbi Karen Deitsch was ordained in 2004 by Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion and has earned certifications in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Classical Homeopathy, Color Therapy, and became trained as both a Jewish and Hatha Yoga Instructor. She strives to live in service of the healing of the Shekhinah (the Divine Feminine) and to the experience of God as the union of masculine and feminine in the Divine Sacred marriage.

Our Sages teach that in this Hebrew month of Adar, "joy increases"! (Talmud Ta'anit 29a.) Each year we are invited — and even challenged — to connect with our inner vitality and our capacity for delight. This joy sustains us all year long, a key to resilience and wholehearted living.
Learn directly with At The Well's founder and CEO, Sarah Waxman. Sarah is an instructor of yoga and mindfulness, a student of sociology and holistic medicine, and a national champion athlete.
Ritualist and teacher Rabbi Karen Deitch will co-facilitate. Rabbi Karen draws on her training in Clinical Hypnotherapy, Classical Homeopathy, Color Therapy, and her experience as both a Jewish and Hatha Yoga Instructor.
