Two things to note:
The book The Way of Blessing the Moon: A Modern Kiddush Levana is a sacred object. It includes the printed name of the Divine in Hebrew, which brings a tremendous reverence in Jewish tradition. When you receive your copy, please cherish and protect it. And if you should ever need to part with it, please do so responsibly.
The traditional prayer practice of Kiddush Levana, which we teach in Part One of The Way of Blessing the Moon, is considered to be reserved for the Jewish community specifically. If you aren't Jewish, we encourage you to use all of the newly crafted monthly poems instead, which you'll find in Part Two. We wanted to include the traditional language for Jewish people observing this prayer, as well as for you to see how each of the modern interpretations are inspired from the original text.
The coloring pages, affirmations, teachings, and poetry in Rosh Chodesh: The Coloring Book and in The Way of Blessing the Moon are appropriate for people of any spiritual background. We hope they inspire you to shape a nourishing new moon practice!
The first-ever copies of The Way of Blessing the Moon are being created right now! We expect them to begin shipping in mid-June 2024.

At The Well is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit on a mission to enhance women’s well-being through ancient Jewish practices. We have a deep love for Rosh Chodesh, the start of each new Hebrew month, and we use this to ground the rest of our work.
We’ve helped thousands of women and nonbinary folks connect in Well Circles to celebrate Rosh Chodesh and support one another. For years we’ve published our beloved Moon Manuals as a taste of the spiritual energy of each lunar month. Now, through the poetry you’ll find within The Way of Blessing the Moon, we’re inviting you to feel and welcome the essence that each month holds for you.
