I'm a Jewish mom, wife, artist, writer, singer, lifelong learner, andlawyer who lives in Conroe near the Woodlands. This circle is for Jewish women at every stage of the life-cycle/of every relationship or marital status/all identities/all backgrounds/any education levels/etc to meet and build community together through monthly meetings centered on Jewish philosophy, spirituality, healing, growth, support, and learning.
All are welcome and encouraged to join. My goal with this circle is to add light, love, kindness, and goodness to the world through a positive, uplifting, respectful community of Jewish (or Jewish-curious/Jewish-adjacent) women. There is no minimum religious requirement/observance required, come as "Jew" are!
We will meet outside (weather permitting) around my fire pit at my home. The logistical requirements of the circle are only that you be willing to: commit to being respectful of one another and everyone's time/the circle itself, bring an outdoor-friendly chair to sit on (I only have two!), be responsive/communicative/honest about whether you can attend meetings, (I gently/humbly) insist on a solid "yes" or "no" RSVP for each meeting so that we show our respect for one another's time and the circle itself (with the understanding that, of course, emergencies happen, but, in general, we ask for transparency/reliability/willingness to act in good faith to attend to the best of your ability--we are all busy with full lives and are *voluntarily choosing* to be a part of this special group, don't commit unless you are going to be authentically invested in the group to the best of your abilities), and the final requirement is that everyone be willing to somehow contribute to a charity of your choice in honor of each meeting (the contribution doesn't have to be monetary, and doesn't have to be much--just a small contribution to charity like old clothes, a can of food, some volunteering time, a few dollars, etc to honor the good intention we are all setting for and bringing to each meeting/the community of the circle.)
We are looking to add 12 new members.
We’re glad you're looking to connect with a Well Circle! Fill out the information below and we’ll notify you if someone near you volunteers to get a circle started.
Could you take a leadership role in starting a circle? Start this circle.
Well Circles are independently-run groups who gather monthly to share and grow together.
More on circlesA new Well Circle is typically organized by 1-2 people who lead the process of inviting a small group to form a circle. We have plenty of resources to support our members who are forming new circles.
Each Well Circle member commits to meeting monthly for Rosh Chodesh. You can get started by browsing open circles, starting a new circle, or signing up for notifications about circles in formation!
Circles gather around the new moon and use the month’s Moon Manual to build an intentional space for reflection, storytelling, and support. Every circle is unique and sets their own intentions for the space.
Most of our events are for those 18+ who identify as women or nonbinary. Join us!
