5784 Shvat POC Well Circle

Our POC Well Circle is inspired by the new moon ritual of Rosh Chodesh — a time to gather, set intentions for the month, and connect.

Details

This Shvat, we welcome you to a Well Circle for those who identify as people of color. This is a POC sacred space to connect, reflect, and set powerful intentions together.

At The Well’s Well Circles are inspired by the Jewish ritual of Rosh Chodesh — an ancient tradition of gathering and holding space together on each new moon.

At The Well events are for those 18 years old and beyond who identify as women or nonbinary. We strive to be an inclusive environment for women and nonbinary folks of all races, classes, abilities, life stages, religious affiliations, sexual orientations, and gender expressions. This particular event is only for those who identify as people of color.

Why is this event for people of color (POC) only? We know that many spaces in our society are overwhelmingly white, and sometimes a POC-only space can be an affirming and strengthening experience. White allies, thanks for understanding the need for this POC space. Have a question? Contact yael@atthewellproject.com.

Together we will...

Reset: Get grounded in the spiritual energy of the month, guided by our thoughtful facilitator.

Reflect: Gain insight into how the themes of the month are shaping your life and the month ahead.

Transform: Take time with an affinity space to be seen and heard with love.

This space will be facilitated by Dammara Markowitz. You can learn more about Dammara on At The Well’s website.

Co-host:

Yarin Weltsman is an entrepreneur by day and a speaker, activist, and artist by night. She founded Women Transcend - a movement erasing limits and challenging what it means to be a modern Jewish woman.
