An Introduction to Mikvah: LA

Join At The Well for a special in-person event in for women and nonbinary folks in Los Angeles, California!

Details

Join Rachel Marcus, Manager of the Maas Community Mikvah, to explore Judaism's sacred water ritual of mikvah.

What does ritual immersion look and feel like? How do mikvah and Rosh Chodesh relate?

Learn about the transformative powers of water in Jewish wisdom, innovative uses of mikvah, and how the rhythms of the moon invite us into divine embodied presence in a welcoming space open to all women and nonbinary folks, regardless of prior mikvah knowledge or experience.

We will explore through meditation, storytelling, text study, and more. There will be an opportunity for immersion for some who are interested after the event.

If you have questions, please reach out to yael@atthewellproject.com!
