Yes, I Want the Joy Practices!
Let's take joy seriously.
This month, known as Adar, is meant to be vibrant and joyful. Each Hebrew month gives us a chance to grow, and in Adar we do so by leaning into appreciation and delight.

In fact, our Sages say, “When Adar arrives, joy increases” (Talmud Ta’anit 29b). We’re taking that intention seriously — even during such a difficult time. Join us for this journey of simple practices.
“Joy isn't about throwing a dance party even if you feel awful. It’s about boldly tapping into the wellsprings of your heart and experiencing whatever you find there.”

Can we still be joyful now?
We believe that Jewish wisdom was made for even the toughest moments. Our ancestors they have passed down many wise tools for resilience. Tapping into joy — even when it’s hard — may be one of the most powerful.
Why joy?
When you make space in your life for greater joy, you’re also supporting your heart health, your resilience to stress, and even your immune system, according to the Greater Good Science Center.
Why now?
The Talmud specifically teaches, “When Adar begins we increase in joy” (Ta'anit 26b). Even when it's difficult. it is vital to give ourselves space for joy and delight.
